Reset your password

Choosing a new password ends every session on the account, on every browser and every computer, keeping none. A reset is what somebody does when they believe another person is inside their account, so whatever is already signed in is precisely what they are trying to remove.

Your devices are left in place. A computer with no live session opens nothing, revoking them all would mean walking to every machine you own and authorising it again, and the list is what lets you look afterwards and remove the one you do not recognise. Wiping the list would wipe the evidence.

A reset does not confirm your email address. If you registered and never opened the confirmation link, the link you need is that one, and it is sent from the sign-in screen rather than from here.

Nothing on disk is touched by any of this. Local repositories, history and capsules keep working while you are signed out, exactly as they do offline.
